Live Life to the Fullest

It is easy to ignore the phrase "life is too short" because we hear it too often. We do not always appreciate life and the essence of time. When we reach a certain age, we tend to panic about all the things that we still wish to accomplish. Society has unfortunately succeeded in associating success to a certain age group. People are pressured to find love and to build families at 25, some of our parents have given up on their education because they believe that they are too old. The aim of this post is not to encourage you to live carelessly, but to inspire you to be brave in your choices, to live curiously and to chase your dreams.

When we were younger, our experienced parents/guardians made most of the decisions for us. As teenagers, we are given the freedom to contribute more. When we reach adulthood, our decisions have the power to create or dismantle opportunities. Choosing a career should not be as gruesome as some people make it to be, it should be an exciting experience. You are allowed to change your mind a million times, you are allowed to fail and try again, and you are definitely allowed to erase the board and start over. These decisions may cost time and money, but once you get it right, you will receive more than you have lost.

People often strive to excel at one thing in life, once they have succeeded, they relax in their comfort zones and reap the rewards. As much as there is no point in trying to do everything only to receive no outcome, we need to grow as people. You can become a doctor and still learn how to play the piano. Do not live too comfortably when you have achieved your goals; challenge your mind; attain new skills; pick up new hobbies; be ambitious; dream big and incorporate your talents into your everyday life.

Each day presents a new opportunity to learn more about yourself and to grow regardless of the chaos that surrounds you. Cherish every moment, allow yourself to fall in and out of love, be kind to others, and never compromise your happiness. There are multiple ways to define success, what is YOUR definition?
